Wet Paws is a full service dog grooming spa and retail shop for all of your grooming needs.
We provide our clients with a variety of services designed exclusively for their needs.
We offer Where Spa Meets the Paw Services such as, Hydro-Massage Baths, Hot-Oil Treatments, Pawdicures and Blue Berry Facials.  We offer special services such as flea/tick shampoo, de-skunking, walk-in nail trimming and plain old baths.  We are equipped with the latest dog grooming tools and technology and offer a friendly atmosphere.
Our spa is both heated and air-conditioned for your pets comfort and our dryers are as well temperatured to eliminate over-heating.  Water and treats are provided throughout your pets stay, along with potty breaks.
You can be assured that your pet will be well taken care of while visiting at Wet Paws and under no circumstances will a tranquilizer be used.

Wet Paws is a supporter of Angles for Animals.  Every year Wet Paws has their Angels for Animals Christmas Tree.  Wet Paws customers donate to Angels and at the end of the holiday season Wet Paws matches the donations and takes it to Angels for Animals.  Please if you are looking for a pet, be sure to check out this great organization.
Wet Paws History
Tricia and her husband David opened Wet Paws Dog & Cat Grooming in 2001 at the Doggie Depot in Alliance where she gathered many clients before moving to her current address on Glamorgan.  In the summer of 2004, just two years after opening, she reopened as Wet Paws Dog Spa Grooming and Other Essentials.  She now grooms 5-6 days a week with the assistance of Jen Strouble - Certified Groomer/Bather, Cathy -  Bather.  Wet Paws was awarded the "Golden Spade Award" from the Alliance Area Chamber of Commerce in May of 2007, for their increase in business, staff and building, along with community involvement.  Wet Paws is a supporter of Angels for Animals and many other local charities.  September 2007 Wet Paws Sponsored a hole at the Annual Lindsay Golf Outing to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  In November of 2007 Wet Paws donated a 9 week old female Chocolate Lab Puppy to be auctioned off at the 17th  Annual Alliance Community Hospital Foundation Charity Ball.  Wet Paws is a member of the Alliance Area Chamber of Commerce, where Tricia is the treasurer for the Women's Division of the Chamber.  In November of 2007 Wet Paws sent out Vol. 1 of the Wet Paws Dog Spa Newsletter, which will be sent out twice a year to inform customers of new services and events happening at Wet Paws.  In January of 2008 Jennifer Strouble Weaver - Certified Groomer joined Tricia in the grooming department.  We are very excited to have her grooming with us.  Jen has been a bather here at Wet Paws for 2+ years and received her certification in 2006, from Diamond Cut Dog Grooming.  In April of 2008 Wet Paws was nominated for Best Pet Services in the Akron/Canton area on Channel 8 myfoxcleveland.com HOTLIST and won 2nd Place.  Tricia was inducted into the Biltmore Who's Who in September of 2008.  Tricia became a registered member of the National Dog Groomers Association in September of 2008.  2009 3rd Place winner on FOX8 Hotlist.  2009 Wet Paws sponsored Lauren Malloy in the Carnation Queen Pageant and co-sponsored with Accentrix, Jimmy and the Soul Blazers at Carnation Days in the Park.  In fall of 2009 the new custom built bathing room was opened. It incluldes 2 raised tubs and a "doggie" roman tub for are large clients.  Every dog is now washed with one of our Hydro Machines with Blackberry Lilac or Oatmeal Shampoo.
