Tricia is the owner and groomer at Wet Paws Dog Spa. She is the wife of David and the mother of Rachael and Jackson. She and her family have two dogs, a Chocolate Labrador named Tahoe and a Border Collie Mix named Parker.
She graduated from Marlington High School in 1992 and attended Kent State University before transferring and graduating from Stark State College with an Associate of Computer Science in Small Business in 1997. She has been certified by All About Dog Grooming of Panama City, Florida. Tricia and her staff attend the Groom Expo & Animal Behavior Conference in Hershey PA yearly, for training and new tricks of the trade. She is a registered member of the National Dog Grooming Association & Baltimore Who's Who.
Tricia has always had a love for animals. She showed her Shetland Pony as a child and was an active member in 4-H for 11 years showing sheep. She has always had a dog as a best friend, starting with Holly her first pet. Holly was a black lab and cocker mix, from the pound...your typical mutt. She would bath and brush her and decorate her in bows, all the while treating her as her own show dog. Who knew it would bring her to her career of choice; Dog Grooming. When you visit Wet Paws you will see a picture of Holly hanging in the waiting room. She was the beginning of many years of love and kindness that has been portrayed to animals by Tricia. This love and compassion for animals and people has nurtured her success today.

Jen started working here in September of 2005 as our bather. Her family dog Toby the Sheltie has been coming to Wet Paws for years. Jens' mom told us about Jens' love for animals and her desire to have a career in animal care. We have loved having Jen as our main bather but now you will enjoy having her as your groomer too!
Jennifer Strouble Weaver is married to Chad and they have a kitty named "kee".
Jen graduated from Diamond Cut Dog Grooming School in August of 2006, and graduated from Stark State College in 2007 with an Associate Degree in Small Business Management. Groom Expo 2007 & 2008

We have been lucky for the past five years to have Tricia's mom Cathy as a bather here at Wet Paws. She works on Thursday's and Saturday's with Tricia to get your dog fresh and clean. She is also available most Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. When we are booked ahead and you only need a bath and nails she can provide this service for you. Cathy also helps out in the office.

Jen's sister Denise is our day time bather here at Wet Paws. We love having Denise, she is really good with the dogs. Denise is married to Matt and they have two children and two dogs of their own.
Jen's mom Pam has joined the crew here at Wet Paws, helping her bathing on Thursday nights.
Pam's dogs Toby the Shelite has been coming to us for years.
Here at Wet Paws we are all family. We have invested alot of time and money into making Wet Paws a wonderful, clean and friendly grooming spa.
We love what we do and care very much about eachother and this shows in the care we will show towards your pet.
